IN-FORM Darwen face a real test of their mettle tomorrow as they face Netherfield in what could prove to be a run feast.
While the two sides are in sixth and seventh, a win for either at Birch Hall will see them jump into the Lanca-shire Cup places.
And the clash of the big-hitting professionals is mouth-watering as Darwen paid man Mohammad Zaman Khan duels with Netherfield’s Nick Kruger.
Zaman Khan has 555 runs in eight knocks, while Kruger has 530.
So their clash could be decisive as John Cordingley’s men look to maintain their good run.
They are unbeaten in a month in all games following their early season wobble.
There is also Latham Baxendale Twenty20 action at Birch Hall tonight as Darwen face Preston looking to make it three wins from three.
J Cordingley, N Cordingley, K Amwar, Y Bhamji, A Davies, N Burke, C Wade, J Clarke, M Moore, S Munns, Khan. Meet 11.15, ground.
