Earby captain out for nine weeks
Veteran Earby captain Stephen Hipgrave could face a race against time if he is to play again this season after being told his injured Achilles will be in plaster for nine weeks.
The 47-year-old seam bowler was injured during a game at Baxenden with initial tests sugesting he would be in a pot for around a month.
