ACCRINGTON’S Twenty20 hoodoo appears broken after they claimed a second win on the spin with a comprehensive success over East Lancs.
David Ormerod’s outfit, who had not won a short form game for four years prior to their victory of Enfield on May 28, easily saw off the Blackburn outfit on Friday night.
And there was more success for Ribblesdale League outfit Edenfield as they shocked Ramsbottom.
That was a second win for Greg Smithson’s men to follow on from their success over Haslingden.
Nelson are also a team in form as they beat Burnley in a repeat of last year’s final.
Church beat Rishton, Haslingden saw off Rawtenstall and Todmorden were winners at Colne.
