Earby won at Cherry Tree in a good game.
Ali Azmat made 96 and Craig Walton 80 as Earby posted 254-4 - but felt they were about 30 short of what they should have recorded on a swealtering day.
And as long as Cherry Tree professional Paul Turner was at the crease, it looked like Jon Baldwin’s men would make them pay.
But he holed out after making 77 and Cherry Tree were all out for 213.
