Baxenden pro Jonathan Fielding was in excellent form with bat and ball as the return of summer saw some inspired performances in the VEKA Ribblesdale League senior division.
The former Ramsbottom spinner was one of five centurions, including two in the run fest between Cherry Tree and Oswaldtwistle Immanuel.
Fielding hit 120 -the day's top score -out of Baxenden's 232-9 against struggling Barnoldswick and then claimed five for 94 from 20 overs as the Back Lane side won by 34 runs.
Cherry Tree and Oswaldtwistle racked up 481 runs at Preston Old Road with Zahoor Elahi hitting 101 for the home team and Ahmer Zaeed notching 119 for the visitors.
Riley gave good back up to Elahi with 60 while Paul Dignan supported Zaeed with 70 as the visitors fell 35 runs short.
Earby's renaissance this season has been down to the form of Ali Azmat. Having plundered four centuries in six games, including last weekend's knocks of 116 and 138, Azmat guided Earby to an eight wicket win against Blackburn Northern.
This time he 'only' made an unbeaten 56 as Earby comfortably overhauled Northern's 130 all out.
Defending champions Settle suffered another set-back in the senior division's match of the day. Despite the best efforts of Saj Fernando, who struck an unbeaten 114 ball ton in the home team's 163, Settle lost by seven wickets to leaders Clitheroe.
Professional Shahid Nawaz made an unbeaten 88 on an afternoon which included eight straight bowling dismissals from the 13 wickets to fall.
Another high scoring game at Church Meadow resulted in a six wicket triumph for Ribblesdale Wanderers over Read. Will Driver contributed 112 in Read's 223-6 while Joe Scuderi hit 79 for the victors.
Whalley returned to winning ways with the day's easiest victory. Ben Darling's 5-30 restricted Edenfield to 125 and then aided by Bradman Ediriweera's 72, Whalley passed their target for the loss of just one wicket.
