BURNLEY manager Steve Cotterill has fielded enquiries for all four of the players he put on the transfer list at the end of last season.
The Clarets chief told the Evening Telegraph that Micah Hyde, Danny Karbassiyoon, Gifton Noel Williams and Duane Courtney have all attracted interest from potential suitors during the summer.
However, Cotterill has not ruled out the possibility that all four of the quartet could still play a part for Burnley next season if suitable moves don't materialise before the transfer deadline in August.
The Burnley boss said: "I've had enquiries for all four of the lads who are on the list but there's nothing concrete as yet, so they could still end up staying and playing for Burnley next season.
"I had to make a difficult decision at the end of last season when I put them on the list and, for all their sakes, I hope they get something sorted out.
"They need to go and play regular first team football and, hand on heart, that was something that I couldn't promise them."
Cotterill has already been active in the transfer market himself this summer, tying up a deal for Northern Ireland international Steve Jones, who has joined the club on a free transfer from Crewe.
On top of that, Andy Gray also rubberstamped his permanent move from Sunderland earlier this week, while Alan Mahon agreed a similar switch from Wigan towards the end of last season.
However, Cotterill is still on the look-out for more new faces to strengthen his squad and he was due to go to Spain this weekend to check out a number of possible targets.
