BURNLEY striker Gifton Noel-Williams looks to be in the centre of a transfer war.
Both Brighton and Millwall, two of the teams relegated from the Coca-Cola Championship last season, both want to sign the burly hitman after he was put on the transfer list by Clarets boss Steve Cotterill.
And Plymouth boss Tony Pulis has also spoken highly of Williams, who played under the Pilgrims boss at Stoke, after they released their target-man Mickey Evans.
But it would appear Brighton and Millwall are leading the chase to sign the 26-year-old striker.
Williams spent the back end of the season on-loan at Brighton, scoring twice in seven appearances, after failing to impress at Turf Moor and Seagulls manager Mark McGhee has said in the past he would like to take him to the Withdean on a permanent deal.
But new Lions boss Nigel Spackman is reportedly keen to pair Ben May, who recently signed a new contract with the club, with Williams as they look to bounce back from League One at the first time of asking.
