ACCRINGTON Cricket Club are expecting Nishit Shetty to be available for their trio of weekend fixtures, despite their professional returning to India this week to see his sick father.
The left-handed batsman, who has rocketed to the top of the Lancashire League batting averages, flew home last Sunday after his father, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease, was taken seriously ill.
However, he has booked a return flight for Friday and is due to be available for all three of Accrington's three Bank Holiday fixtures.
