ENFIELD begin their assault on the double as they entertain Church in the Get Solutions Worsley Cup first round tomorrow.
The Dill Hall Lane side came out on top when the two teams met in the league two weeks ago, with Craig Fergusson starring against his former team.
And captain David Bracewell is hoping for a repeat against their neighbours.
"Craig enjoyed it when we played against them. Him, Sam (Reidy) and Alviro (Petersen) all seem to be in good form at the moment," he said.
"Apart from last year, we normally have a good run in the cup.
"Our two main aims at the start of the season were to win the league and the Worsley Cup. If we can do well in the Inter League and Twenty20 competition that will be a bonus, but we've set our sights on the double.
"As long as we keep playing like we are doing I don't see any reason why we can't achieve it."
Mas Ahmed returns to the side for Andrew Windle.
Church last won the Worsley Cup in 1974 and captain Phil Sykes reckons success is overdue.
Adam Greenwood replaces Ryan North in the Church said and Sykes said: "The Worsley Cup is the one everybody wants to win.
"Enfield outplayed us when we played them recently and we'll need the amatuers to make more of a contribution.
"We've had a semi-final and a final in the last few years but we're overdue a cup win."
Holders Ramsbottom will be looking to make it four wins in the last six seasons as they begin the defence of their trophy with a tough tie against Colne.
Skipper Richard Hevingham leaves Toby McLean out of his side.
Colne captain David Swarbrick is backing the winners of the tie to go on and lift the trophy.
But the Horsfield keeper hopes his side's bowling strength will give Colne the edge.
He said: "I think the two teams must rank among the favourites to win the cup. It will be tough for us but I have no worries about playing them so early in the competition."
Spin bowler John Lambert comes into the squad to replace one of the batsmen.
Last year's Worsley Cup runners-up TODMORDEN face BACUP and skipper Stuart Priestley is to put another one over on their near neighbours.
Tod beat Chris Cairns' side at the beginning of the month in the league and are hoping for a repeat in the cup tomorrow.
Priestley said: "Playing against Cairns was interesting but we did well and I hope that's the case again tomorrow.
"It's a big game for us so we hope there'll be a big crowd on."
Bacup captain John Chapman believes a good cup run will do his side the world of good.
He said: "This is a very important competition for Bacup. We have a good tradition in the Worsley Cup and we want to keep that record up."
Chapman may return behind the stumps after recovering from a broken finger, while Dave Warren replaces James Cunliffe.
Vinny Hanson believes Rawtenstall have the perfect all-round team to win the cup as they prepare to face Lowerhouse for the second time this weekend.
Hanson said: "The balance of our team is perfect for cup cricket. We have some very good all-rounders so we don't have to weaken our line-up to accommodate an extra bowler.
"We will be taking the competition very seriously and the fact that Lowerhouse beat us at the same stage last season just gives us an added incentive."
Richard Wood comes in for John Hayman.
Lowerhouse, who won the Worsley Cup in 2004, will be without Jon Finch and Chris Benbow again, but youngsters Bharat Tripathi, Scott Hope and Ben Heap have all impressed.
RISHTON captain Peter Sleep reckons his side hold a crucial psychological advantage going into their tie with Haslingden at Blackburn Road.
Two weeks ago, Rishton cruised to an eight wicket- win over Haslingden in the league, a result and performance which Sleep believes damaged' tomorrow's opponents.
"The fact we've already beaten them in the league is a big plus in our favour," said the Rishton skipper.
"With that in mind, they are going to be trying even harder to beat us, which should make it a great game."
Rishton are without the Wyse brothers, Garth and Shaun, who are both away in Newcastle for the weekend but Jimmy Bibby comes into the side.
Haslingden skipper Stuart Catterall, who leads an unchanged team into battle, is hoping to continue their good run in the Worsley Cup over the last few years.
He said: "The Cup has been good to us in recent years but we were out-played when we played Rishton recently so we're really going to have to pull our fingers out."
ACCRINGTON and BURNLEY do battle in the first part of their trilogy in nine days tomorrow.
They are also due play in the league and Inter-League Trophy in quick succession.
Accrington are unchanged for this first encounter but Burnley add James Capstick and Graham Lalor to Saturday's side.
