BLACKBURN Rovers skipper Andy Todd has stated he has no intention of quitting the club this summer.
Speculation in the national press claimed Todd had become unsettled' at Rovers following a bust-up with manager Mark Hughes during the closing weeks of last season.
Manchester City, Wigan Athletic and Portsmouth were all reported to be ready to make bids for the player if Rovers indicated they were prepared to sell.
However, Hughes has since rubbished talk of a fall-out between him and the Rovers skipper, claiming the pair did have a minor disagreement after Todd was substituted against Birmingham but the defender quickly apologised.
And now Todd himself has slammed reports of a feud by claiming he's happy at Ewood and looking forward to playing in Europe next season.
His agent, Peter Harrison, said: ''There is no bust-up and Andy has two years left on his contract.
''He is looking forward to playing in Europe.'' Despite not always commanding a regular starting place, Todd has become a key player under Hughes, so much so that the Rovers boss appointed him captain of the team shortly after he took over from Graeme Souness 18 months ago.
Since then, Todd has worked hard to shed his reputation for being a troublemaker and was voted the fans' player of the year last year.
When asked about Todd's furture, Hughes recently said: "Andy's still very much part of my plans for next season.
"He's got a contract here, he's been a big part of the success we've had since I've been here, and he's still very much part of what we want to do in the future."
