BLACKBURN Rovers season ticket holders are in line for free European football.
Hot on the heels of the hugely-successful Early Bird' renewal scheme, Rovers have now announced that every season ticket holder will get free admission to the first home UEFA Cup tie of next term.
The Early Bird scheme, which allowed both renewals and new customers the chance to purchase tickets at last season's prices, has proved a real winner.
Managing Director Tom Finn said: "It was the first time we have tried Early Bird and we are absolutely delighted with the reaction.
"It has prompted a great response from fans who clearly recognise the opportunity to purchase a season ticket on the back of our top six finish in the Premier League.
"As part of our incentive scheme, we have now decided to add in free admission to our first UEFA Cup home tie with the aim of encouraging even more supporters to tap in to the real value of buying a season ticket, which also includes free membership."
Rovers continue to offer some of the best prices around with 2006-07 season tickets starting at £270 for adults (just over £13 a game) and £99 for juniors (less than £5 a game), with even greater savings available in the Family Stand.
For match days, Rovers have also held the adult price for Category B games - the biggest single category - with prices starting at just £15.
Mr Finn added: "We are very aware of the need to provide not only successful football, but affordable football. We believe that, once again, our prices at Ewood Park are highly competitive and stand comparison with anywhere else in the Premier League."
Rovers will return to UEFA Cup action in September after securing qualification with a memorable home win over champions Chelsea in the penultimate league fixture.
After a three-year absence from the European stage and with manager Mark Hughes looking to further strengthen his first team squad, everyone connected with the club is eagerly looking forward to the start of the 2006-07 campaign.
l For anyone who has already renewed their season ticket, personal confirmation and details of the package will be delivered within the next couple of weeks.
For anyone yet to renew, an information/renewal pack will arrive shortly.
