Blackburn Rovers' boss Mark Hughes is confident' his star striker Craig Bellamy WILL be at Rovers next season, despite speculation to the contrary.
A story in The Times newspaper yesterday claimed Tottenham manager Martin Jol is lining up a move for the Welsh international, but Hughes is adamant Bellamy is going nowhere.
"I'm as confident as I can be about any player," said Hughes, in response to a question about Bellamy staying at Rovers next season.
"We want to keep our best players, we're not in the business of selling them. We're a top six side and we're looking to kick on, and you don't do that by selling your best players.
"I'm more than confident that Craig will be here next season."
