Burnley will face Blackpool in the Lancashire FA Youth Cup final following last night's thrilling semi-final victory over Bury.
Goals from Ali Akbar and U15 winger James Craggs helped the Clarets to a 2-1 victory over the Shakers to set up tomorrow night's Bloomfield Road showdown.
Youth team coach Terry Pashley said: "Obviously we are delighted to have secured a place in tomorrow's final, especially with such a young side.
"The experience and success this competition has brought will hopefully stand them in good stead because everyone can play again next season."
After a goalless first 75 minutes, Akbar made the breakthrough for Burnley from the penalty spot after Rob Turner was brought down inside the area.
Five minutes later Craggs doubled the advantage with a far post finish following a sweeping move upfield.
Bury give the Clarets a late scare with a 90th minute goal to reduce the arrears.
But within seconds the final whistle sparked wild celebrations.
Pashley added: "It's a great achievement by the boys after a lot of hard work this season and hopefully now we can cap the season off with a cup final victory."
The final takes place on Wednesday, May 10 at Bloomfield Road (Kick off 7pm). Admission is £4 adults and £2 concessions.
