BLACKBURN boss Mark Hughes has called on fans to pump up the volume' as Rovers prepare to step up their bid for a Champions League place at home to Wigan Athletic tonight.
With just seven games of the season remaining, Rovers can go level on points with Tottenham in the battle to secure a top four finish if they overcome Paul Jewell's Latics at Ewood this evening.
And as the club prepares to launch one final push in its quest for Europe, the Evening Telegraph is launching a special campaign to help roar them over the finishing line.
Rovers have already won 11 times on home turf in the Premiership this season a remarkable return for a club that was battling to avoid relegation this time last year.
Now Hughes is targeting four more home wins between now and May 7 and he believes with the fans' backing, the club can achieve its goal of qualifying for Europe's premier cup competition.
The bullish Rovers chief said: "The supporters have a vital role to play for us.
"It's true they can be a 12th man and we need as many 12th men as we can between now and the end of the season.
"We need them to turn the volume up and help us maintain our excellent home form in these four remaining games.
"I've never met a footballer who isn't lifted by the vociferous backing of their home supporters and it can make a big difference, believe me.
"The fans who have been at Ewood this season have been excellent and we'd obviously like that to continue with even greater numbers and even more noise.
"It was thanks to their great backing that we managed to overcome Middlesbrough in our last home game, even though we'd had a man sent off."
Over the next five weeks, the Evening Telegraph are joining forces with Rovers in an attempt to fill Ewood for the run-in, so watch out for special competitions and ticket promotions.
