Blackburn Rovers will now face Chelsea at Ewood in the final week of the season after the fixture was moved because of the Blues' involvement in the FA Cup semi-finals.
Originally, Jose Mourinho's side were due to visit on Saturday April 22, but the game has now been switched to Tuesday May 2 (kick off 8pm) and will be televised live on Sky TV.
The move could actually work in Rovers' favour as Chelsea will, in all likelihood, have been crowned the champions by that point, and they could also have the added distraction of an FA Cup final to prepare for, which is due to take place on Saturday May 13.
Mourinho famously accused Rovers of trying to physically intimidate' his players during the corresponding fixture last season, a claim which led to Hughes' side being unfairly labelled the bully boys' of the Premier League.
