Rovers live on Sky. They're generally four words that strike fear into football fans the world over as they look at their subscription costs and wonder why they bother.
To be honest, they'd be quite right to feel less than enthusiastic about us too given our recent live offerings, most notably the Bolton game. A game that Andy Gray constantly refers to as the moment that he worried about the Premiership becoming too boring.
So the football watching masses could have been forgiven for missing the entertainment on Sunday and looking at something more fulfilling to do like maybe a bit of DIY or possibly sticking pins in their eyes.
It was all set up for those Rovers bashers. Time for the media darlings of Tottenham to teach us a footballing lesson as we try to punch and kick our way to a result.
How wrong could they be?
While the result hurts, really hurts if I'm honest, I feel a sense of pride in defeat that I haven't felt since we lost at Parkhead against Celtic a few years ago.
Losing is always hard to bear but it's harder to bear when one can take no positives from the game. Sunday's game had so many positives it's almost impossible to believe we lost. While we may have left with no points, we left with all the plaudits.
It's not just that we outplayed the team in fourth position, it's that we were superior in every department to them apart from the scoreline.
I've been saying for quite a while now that it's a good time to be a Rovers fan and if there's ever a performance that compounds that theory it is the one from Sunday.
It's a mix of the honest pros like Nelsen and Friedel to the committed individuals such as Reid and Savage and last but not least the jewel in the Ewood crown, Craig Bellamy.
Without wanting to go overboard too much (although I'm probably just about to) is there a better striker out there at this moment?
The man just oozes quality and the contribution he makes in every game is immense. Defenders don't seem to know how to handle him and he rarely squanders a chance.
It's just a big shame that he's not English. Better than Owen? I think so.
So while the Spurs result was disappointing it pays to keep an eye on what's important.
The Blackburn public now have a team that they should be proud of, a team that they should get behind and a team that is so close to achieving the remarkable feat of securing European football. It's a team loaded with passion and enthusiasm that fans can identify with but also has sprinklings of skill and invention to elevate it from the mediocre.
These are exciting times and right now the club needs your support.
Have you got your ticket for the Villa game yet?
