BAD news for Blackburn Rovers tomorrow. If we didn't know it all already, his goal against Real Madrid proved it - Thierry Henry is unstoppable.

There's no way of defending against him, you just have to hope he has an off day.

But how many of those does he have?

The only weakness, if he has one, is his heading but when you're as good on the ground as he is it doesn't matter.

He can run at pace with the ball and if he gets a sniff of goal, it ends up in the back of the net.

Even when people try to kick him they either can't get near enough to him, or he just casually gets up and gets on with it. You can't rattle him.

He's the best striker in the Premiership and he has been for four or five years now.

Also, I don't think anyone can hope that Arsenal will be affected in any way after their heroics in Madrid.

You could argue that they might get complacent and think well if we beat Real Madrid we should have no problem against Blackburn'.

They won't take it easy because Arsenal are a team of champions and champions don't get where they are by approaching games like that.

It's not as if anyone could take Rovers easily anyway after what they did to Manchester United.

However, it has to be said that Blackburn need to come back from Dubai freshened up and with their problems well and truly behind them.

Before the win over Sunderland they had a bit of a bad time so the break will have benefited Mark Hughes as he's had a chance to look at what's been going wrong and set about putting it right.

A sunshine break will have been just perfect for that and that's the great benefit of the luxuries of modern footballl.

It all makes a change from when I was at Rovers and we were lucky even to get a mid-season break.

One year we got to Portugal - but mostly it was Morecambe!
