THE Lancashire Evening Telegraph today launches a major campaign to help Accrington Stanley become our third league side.
The famous club, which was reformed in 1968 after going out of business, is bidding to make a historic return to the Football League.
And we're calling on the whole of Accrington to get behind the Reds as they attempt to get back to where they belong.
We want the feelgood factor to be back in East Lancashire.
Blackburn Rovers are enjoying a revival under the stewardship of Mark Hughes, and Burnley can still nail a play-off spot - and a potential place in the Premiership.
But it's Stanley's fairytale dream of playing in the Football League again that has captured the imagination.
We want the people of Accrington and beyond to give them that final push by packing out the Interlink Express Stadium for the remaining seven homes games.
At tomorrow's home game against Dagenham and Redbridge, the Evening Telegraph will be handing out free We're Backing Stanley' car stickers as well as Telegraph goodie bags.
It's your chance to help the dream come true.
