BURNLEY are refusing to give up on their play-off aspirations.
The Clarets make the long trip to in-form Ipswich this weekend nine points adrift of the top six following a rocky start to 2006.
But after picking up their first three points of the year against Plymouth Argyle, winger Wade Elliott knows the importance of building on that victory at Portman Road.
He said: "Ipswich had a great win at the weekend over rivals Norwich and Saturday will be a big match for both of us, thinking about the aspirations that both clubs have.
"They are just behind us in the table at the moment and, like us, they still haven't given up on reaching the play-offs.
"They are a team that a lot of people expected to do well this season, but they've hit a bit of form and they will want to possibly gate crash the play-offs, like we do."
