JOHN Coleman has urged his Accrington Stanley side to show the will to win and finish the job against Worksop Town tonight.
The Reds were forced into their second consecutive FA Trophy replay after David Brown grabbed an equaliser against the Conference North side.
But Coleman has called for his side to display their desire tonight and secure a quarter final place.
"We're going to have to improve if we're going to go on and win things this year," he said.
"We don't seem to be playing well in this cup at the moment.
"We struggled against Altrincham to a certain extent, we limped over the line against Carshalton and we'll do it the hard way if we beat Worksop.
"Maybe we're saving our big performances for the league."
But the Stanley boss felt his side were also hampered by too many refereeing decisions going against them on Saturday.
"People might say we were a little bit fortunate last Monday (at Exeter) with some of the decisions we got.
"But for them (Worksop) to get a penalty for a mis-timed challenge, and then we don't get a penalty for the same challenge, it just doesn't make sense," he said.
"We had three goals disallowed and I can't wait to see the second one because I'm convinced he (Brown) is two yards onside.
"I don't want to talk too much about officials. We didn't play well, but when we're not playing well and you get compounded by officials having an off day, it makes it doubly hard.
"It's just coincidental that a lot of the decisions or mistakes that were made by the officials went against us.
"That doesn't excuse our performance. We need to be a lot brighter than that."
He added: "We're going to have to win games in an ugly manner.
"We're going to have to work harder, our movement has to be better and we're going to have to be more inventive around the box.
"We improved a little bit in the second half and showed a lot of character to come back from a goal down again."
