ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman is hoping to go for a hat-trick of Nationwide Conference manager of the month awards after scooping the title for the second consecutive month.

Coleman shared the Trophy with Crawley's John Hollins in December but with the Reds unbeaten in seven games throughout January, the Stanley supremo won that award outright.

And he's hoping it won't be his last.

He said: "Some people think it's a curse but it wasn't for me last month! It's nice to get it but it's not about me, it's a reflection on how well the team is playing.

"We don't look at it as a curse. The players have been playing well and we just want them to keep doing that. You can't look back, you have to look forward because every opposition brings different problems and threats."

Conference North side Worksop Town are the visitors to the Interlink Express Stadium this weekend in the third round of the FA Trophy but one player who definitely won't be involved is Anthony Barry.

The 19-year-old Liverpudlian signed a two-year deal with League One side Yeovil on deadline day but Coleman said he wouldn't dwell on his departure.

He said: "It wasn't ideal for us but it's happened and we just have to get on with it.

"But we were able to get Andy Todd in on loan from Burton and he'll give us some good options.

"He's tall, can beat people and is a hard worker so he's a quality addition to the squad."

Leam Richardson is a doubt for the visit of Worksop with a hamstring strain picked up in the win over Exeter and Coleman said tomorrow's game would be a tricky one.

"There's no doubt it'll be a tough game for us," he added.

"We've had them watched and we know how they play.

"We'll give them the utmost respect because we've had a hard time against teams from leagues lower than ours.

"Teams raise their games against us and put in really good performances so we have to make sure we're up for it.

"Our next priority is to win our next game and we'll just see where it takes us."
