Stanley boss John Coleman reckons the Nationwide Conference title race is far from over despite his side's 11-point lead.
Stanley widened the chasm at the top of the table thanks to a 3-1 win over their nearest rivals on Monday and they still have a game in hand.
But Coleman is refusing to get carried and said Stanley haven't got one hand on the Trophy, and promotion to the Football League, just yet.
He said: "I always think that if you try and pick big things up with one hand you always drop them so we'll be keeping our feet firmly on the ground.
"It was a good performance but only in patches.
"We weathered the storm in the first half, they put us under a tremendous amount of pressure and all credit to them.
"They came back into the game after we'd had a good start. But we came back well "But no medals are given out in January and there's still a long way to go yet."
Stanley skipper Peter Cavanagh added that he thought the win over their nearest challengers was a very important one.
He added: "Obviously, we had the eight-point gap but to go to Exeter and get the win obviously stretches that now. If they'd have won, that would have put pressure back on us.
"We've played a lot better, earlier on in the season, but Gary (Roberts) scored two fantastic goals and it was tough for them to come back from that.
"We don't think we've won anything yet but there's a great team spirit, great camaraderie and I think that showed at the end."
