IT'S all down to us now.
Whatever happens at Exeter on Monday night is down to us and how we perform.
We've seen over the last three years what's in the league and what teams are capable of.
I firmly believe our squad, albeit small at the minute, is enough to win this league.
It's just a matter of how we apply ourselves.
Saturday showed when you drop your guard, you can get hurt.
I wasn't expecting a performance like that from us at all. I tend to get feelings around the place, during the week in training and when I'm doing the warm-up before the game.
I generally know when we are a bit flat. But I thought we would have far too much for Cambridge, so what happened totally took me by surprise.
I thought Cambridge dominated the first half. They were first to every second ball, were totally in control and although they didn't create much they had a lot of possession, corners and crosses.
Our lads got an absolute rocket at half-time. There were some harsh words said, but in a constructive way.
We said the way we were playing, you could see the league slipping away from us.
But I'm a firm believer that the harder you try, the luckier you get.
We stepped it up in the second half and got the rub of the green in return although there's a queue forming for a new penalty taker now, and Ian Craney is at the front of it!
They responded brilliantly to what was said at half-time, so that shows what's in their locker, which is obviously encouraging for John Coleman and myself.
Now we need to hope that our form for the cameras continues on Monday night.
