THE latest event to help people give racism the red card will be held at Turf Moor this week.
Burnley Football Club and police are urging anyone who feels they are being singled out for abuse because of their age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, faith or race to come along and talk to them.
The surgeries, which are being held by PC Bev Taylor, will take place in the leisure complex opposite the James Hargreaves Stand from 6 to 7pm on Thursday, January 26, February 9 and February 23.
PC Taylor said: "We have a team of officers dedicated to investigating this type of offence and we want to help.
"Please don't suffer in silence, come along and speak to us."
Dean Ramsdale from Burnley FC said: "We're keen to show hate crime the red card and as such we're delighted to be supporting this initiative.
"If you or someone you know is a victim of hate crime, then please come along."
