Blackburn Rovers have reassured Aaron Mokoena that he still has a big part to play in Mark Hughes' future plans for the club.
After failing to pin down a regular place in the first team this season, the former South African captain asked if he could go out on loan to get some games under his belt.
But Hughes quickly rejected that request and told the 25-year-old he remains a key part of his squad.
"Aaron's agent did mention the possibility of him going out on loan but Mark has reassured him that he still has an important role to play here for the rest of the season," said Williams.
