MORTEN Gamst Pedersen is ready to reproduce his Old Trafford heroics and fire Blackburn Rovers into the Carling Cup final.
The Norwegian scored another wonder goal last night - his third against Manchester United this season - to level the first leg of the semi-final.
Pedersen gave Alex Ferguson more nightmares as he hammered in a painful reminder of the double strike that sank the Red Devils at the Theatre Of Dreams in September.
And with the memories of that glorious victory still fresh in his mind, Pedersen is confident Rovers can pull off a similar result in a fortnight.
"They are just human and we know we can beat them," said Pedersen.
"We did it before at Old Trafford so this is a good result for us.
"We know what we did last time, so why can't we do that again?
"We are not complaining about getting a draw at home because we are coming good now and know what we can do.
"The second leg is a game we're all looking forward to and it will be fun."
Louis Saha fired United into a 30th minute lead but Pedersen unleashed a stunning volley to equalise before the break.
Rovers couldn't quite push for a winner in the second half, although Shefki Kuqi had an opportunity to put them in front when he was sent clear, only to hit the side netting.
Aside from a few inevitable flashes of brilliance from Wayne Rooney, United rarely threatened a winner of their own, proving how delicately poised the tie is.
But the fact that Blackburn didn't make the most of home advantage isn't shaking Pedersen's belief that they can make a return to Cardiff, following April's FA Cup semi-final appearance at the Millennium Stadium.
"United didn't have many chances, they just played the ball round and around," Pedersen added.
"If anything we had the big chance to win it in the second half.
"They had the ball more than us in the second half but I never felt they were really dangerous and that's encouraging.
"The defence played really well and everyone worked really hard so we deserved to get a draw."
