CLARETS fans can get a unique insight into the daily life of their heroes in a new exhibition at Mid-Pennine Art Gallery.
The club's in-house photographer Andy Ford has followed Burnley FC's everyday routine on an off the pitch including their pre-season tour to Austria for the display, entitled More Than 90 Minutes.
Captain Frank Sinclair and the rest of the team will officially open the exhibition in Yorke Street, Burnley, on Monday at 1.30pm.
Some of the photographs feature in a book of the same name but many are exclusive and take fans behind the scenes at the club.
Andy, 46, from Padiham, has spent the 18 months snapping life at Turf Moor.
He said: "I've always been a Burnley supporter. I've been documenting the area around Burnley for ten to 15 years in black and white images.
"I only photograph things I'm passionate about and I use it as an open door to find things out for myself. It's a great opportunity that can't be missed.
"I like to photograph ordinary guys going about their ordinary business. Footballers are working guys. I like to get an insight into their lives."
Andy got to know the team well while out in Austria which helped the players relax in front of the lens. His favourite set of pictures show an episode in a player's life most would try to avoid.
He said: "Some of the photos are with the fans and manager, some are training and the physio room. One aspect I do like is when one of the players, Danny Karbassiyoon, got injured and I followed him through his rehabilitation. That's my favourite set."
Mid-Pennine Arts is holding workshops for young people on Saturdays, focusing on how to take a perfect photograph. Workshops cost £2 per child and children under 7 years must be accompanied by an adult.
More Than 90 Minutes runs from Saturday until February 11 at Mid-Pennine Art Gallery, Yorke Street, Burnley.
