COLNE clinched a dramatic last-gasp victory over West Park Warriors to win for only the second time this season.
In the last play of the match, winger Dean Sykes touched down in the corner after a wonderful piece of vision by fly half Callum Kinnane.
Colne were staring defeat number 17 in the face when they were awarded a penalty five yards short of the West Park line.
As the referee called the last play of the match, Colne opted for a scrum and after receiving the ball, Kinnane lofted a cross-field kick which Sykes raced on to to touch down.
Earlier, Colne had led 6-0 at the break thanks to two good kicks from Aaron Denton.
But West Park got to grips with Colne’s kicking game to take the lead before the late drama.
