Day three of training started straight after the men's bobsleigh final.
I have been having trouble at bend 2 and was over the moon when I sorted it out on the first run of day.
Everything was going sweet until I came off corner 9 a little hard and rolled into corner 10... CRASH!
Me and Kelly travelled on our heads all the way down and through the finish. After a couple of minutes of trying to get out we got rushed off to the doctors. The doctor gave us the all clear and after the track workers found my visor in one of the corners we were back up the top ready to go again. (After Magnus – the sled was fixed by Jacko and Pete).
Kelly was ready as ever, and more importantly as keen as ever.
You wouldn't have known she’d just been on her head at 70 odd miles an hour not 20 minutes proir... GO KELLY!
The second run was better in the fact we were the right way up through the finish but three corners were a little rough. Even with the rough 11,12,13 combo we still managed to come down 15h in a starting position of 19th.
Ice baths done now off to bed...
