KRISTAN Bromley admitted he faces some of the biggest and toughest decisions of his 15-year career after failing to end 12 years of Winter Olympic hurt in Whistler.

Bromley travelled to Canada with the goal of completing a career, which has seen him claim the World Cup, World Championship and European titles, with an Olympic medal.

However it all ended in tears as he came home sixth at the Whistler Sliding Centre four years after he finished fifth in Turin and eight after he marked his debut with 13th in Salt Lake City.

The 37-year-old insisted he will be thinking long and hard about his future over the coming weeks.

“It is always emotional after a race and I am really disappointed that I couldn’t make that podium,” he said. “Now I am going to spend time with my family. I have really missed my little girl this week and I will sit down and reflect on my future after I have had time with her.”
