The football on display is nothing short of scintillating and at times you dare not pause for breath.

Speaking of which, the Clayton End was in top form last Saturday with song after song of support for their beloved Reds.

The management team are always quick to praise our wonderful fans, and after Tuesday’s trip to the lifeless Pirelli Stadium, John was once again full of praise for the travelling Reds.

Tonight we are off to Barnet for the replay that should never have been; if there is any justice in the world the Reds will soundly beat their Cockney rivals and book a place in the next round of the cup.

Then on Saturday we take on Sven and his millionaires – I wonder if Sven ever had to deal with a transfer ban?
