UPBEAT John Coleman believes his confident Accrington Stanley side can taste FA Cup glory and reach the third round tonight.

Stanley go to Barnet for their second round replay with a feeling of injustice from the original game when the Bees stung them with a late, late leveller from a controversial stoppage time penalty.

And tonight they face a tough replay in North London with the prize being a third round meeting with Gillingham.

The Reds go into the tie on the back of successive wins over Burton and Torquay and the manager said: “It doesn’t do anyone any harm to win games on the spin but we know it is going to be a tough match.

“But Burton were on a good run and we beat them and there is no reason why we can’t go and win.

“I would like to see us taking our home form into all away games but we are more than capable of getting the result.

“We were harshly treated in the first game but we are not the only team with a hard luck story it was our turn against Barnet and there is no point moaning.

“It’s the first time we have been in second round for a while and it would be nice to get into the third round and that tie with Gillingham. It’s a massive game financially but we cant put pressure on players with that.

“It’s always hard to get a win in London but we will go and give it the best shot.”

Stanley will also have a change of travel plan for the tie and will board the bus to London early this morning before stopping over tonight after the match.

“I think the lads have suffered in the past when we have travelled back late after a game,” said Coleman. “They have been sluggish on the Saturday after.

“We will get to the hotel nice and early and the lads can have a sleep and we will stay over and travel back on Wednesday.

“Then they should be refreshed for training on Thursday. ”

Bobby Grant should be fit to play after being forced off in the latter stages of Saturday’s game with a knock.
