Blackburn Rovers have made four changes to the side that saw off Chelsea mid-week.
Gael Givet and Vince Grella are all restored, while Franco Di Santo is welcomed back after being ineligible for the Carling Cup clash.
El-Hadji Diouf also returns to his place on the wing, against his former side.
Benni McCarthy keeps his place, and is expected to fill the role of David Dunn who misses out.
Jason Roberts, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Nikola Kalinic and Michel Salgado all are relegated to the bench, as is Keith Andrews who isn't fit enough to start.
Liverpool welcome back Albert Riera and Yossi Benayoun to the starting line up, while Dirk Kuyt leads the line in the absence of Fernando Torres.
