LEAGUE leaders Baxenden will play Clitheroe in the Ribblesdale League’s Ramsbottom Cup final after they came through their semi-finals on Sunday.
Ian Austin’s men proved too strong for Earby while the Padiham v Clitheroe semi was a thriller.
After a long rain delay in the afternoon, Padiham were bowled out for 158.
The game ebbed and flowed and at 9.15pm, Clitheroe tied the Padiham score with the final ball.
But by virtue of losing nine wickets, they won through.
The final takes place at Settle CC on Sunday, August 2.
