Cherry Tree v Read, Earby v Baxenden, Edenfield v Oswaldtwistle, Gt Harwood v Barnoldswick, Padiham v Whalley, Ribblesdale W v Blackburn N, Settle v Clitheroe.
CHERRY Tree look to get back to winning ways in the Ribblesdale League tomorrow - and heap more misery on Read at the same time.
Jon Baldwin’s Cherry Tree men started the campaign brightly and were among the early pace setters.
But their season has taken a major downhill turn since those early days of summer and they have slumped towards the lower reaches of the league thanks to their wretched run.
For the game at Preston New Road, Cherry Tree will look to Scott Friend.
The youngster has been on duty with Lancashire seconds this week and is in form with the bat with more than 450 runs in all competitions so far this season.
It is also a big game for Read, who have also hit dire form in the last month and have slipped to 35 points behind leaders Baxenden.
They also crashed out of the Ramsbottom Cup to Clitheroe and lost Matt Wilson to Colne.
While that game promises to be a tense affair, Baxenden and Earby meet for the first of three games in eight days.
The leaders go to the Applegarth with the only blot on their copybook being the rained off game last weekend.
But they could face their stiffest examination to date against Stephen Hipgrave’s mix of young and old.
The two sides then meet again on Sunday in the semi-final of the Ramsbottom Cup before another league meeting next Saturday.
Reigning champions Great Harwood are going well in third place and entertain Barnoldswick tomorrow, while fourth-placed Padiham are at home to Whalley.
In form Ribblesdale Wanderers face struggling Blackburn Northern, Settle entertain Clitheroe and Edenfield entertain Oswaldtwistle at Gincroft Lane.
