BLACKBURN Rovers will play their reserve games in Leigh during the 2009/10 season.
Rovers have played their second-string matches at Morecambe for the past nine years but have opted to switch to Leigh Sports Village.
The impressive 12,700-capacity stadium opened in December and is the new home of rugby league side Leigh Centurions and non-league football club Leigh Genesis, who are currently managed by former Rovers midfielder Garry Flitcroft.
Rovers football secretary Andrew Pincher said: βIt is a wonderful, purpose-built, 10,000-plus modern facility.β
