Cherry Tree’s recent woes continued as they were beaten by Whalley, who started the day bottom of the at table.
Tree were bowled out for 107 at Preston Old Road and after a delay for rain, Whalley passed their reduced target of 84 with six wickets in hand.
That win for Whalley lifted them off the foot of league.
