SAM Allardyce expects Blackburn Rovers will have to wait in their pursuit of Chelsea’s young Argentinian forward Franco di Santo.
Rovers want the 20-year-old on a season-long loan but new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is first expected to take di Santo on the Blues’ tour of the United States to assess whether he wants to keep him.
“I don’t know what the situation is with di Santo so I’m not particularly clear on what’s been talked about there,” said Allardyce.
“I would have thought Ancelotti would be looking at all of his players first before making a decision on whether he’s letting anyone go.
“But obviously we would be interested in anyone from Chelsea if they were the right price for us.”
