CHURCH have finally got their man – with half of the Lancashire League season gone.

The West Enders looked to be on to good things when they signed New Zealand spinner Luke Woodcock but his arrival was beset with problems over a jobs" target="_blank">work permit.

Eventually, the 27-year-old did land in the UK but was detained at Heathrow airport and returned to New Zealand on the next flight because of another issue with his visa.

But now the Wellington Firebirds star, a member of the New Zealand A team, will join up with Church this week.

Padiham pro Kashif Saddique was the latest of their sub professionals at Nelson yesterday.
