Clitheroe hoisted themselves off the bottom and put neighbours Whalley into that spot with a convincing win at Station Road in the Ribblesdale League on Saturday.

Martin Davies made 60 for Whalley but they made just 151-7 from their 45 overs. And Clitheroe strolled home by nine wickets with Jack Dewhurst (75 not out) and pro Paul Turner (63) sharing a 150 opening partnership.
