Accrington Stanley’s ongoing takeover may still be some days away from completion, even though majority shareholder Eric Whalley last week stepped down as chairman.
Whalley is set to sell most of his shares to Dave O’Neill, who has taken running of the club’s affairs.
“It’s just with the solicitors now but it should be sorted by the end of the month,” said chief executive Rob Heys.
Stanley will give supporters a chance to ask questions at a forum next week.
