BLACKBURN Rovers ace Stephen Warnock has shown his charitable side by lending support to East Lancashire Hospice’s Charity Golf Day.
The event – which marks the Hospice’s 25th year – is to be held at Wilpshire Golf Club on Saturday July 4, with two shotgun starts, one at 9am and the other at 2pm.
And there are still places available.
“By taking part in the Golf Day, you will be helping East Lancashire Hospice to help many others in need of care across East Lancashire,” said Rovers defender Warnock.
The teams are for four and the best two stableford scores from each team will count.
Entry fee per team is £400 and the proceeds will go to the East Lancashire Hospice.
Sharon Crymble, of East Lancashire Hospice, said: “We would like to thank Wilpshire Golf Club for giving their course free of charge, and also members for giving up their Saturday golf.”
