LEAM Richardson could be set to leave Accrington Stanley – and Jay Bell’s departure has now been confirmed.
Richardson, who is out of contract at the end of the month, struggled with injuries during 2008/09 and is unhappy with a new deal that is heavily based on appearances.
The 29-year-old is considering other options, in a similar situation to fellow injury-hampered full back Chris King.
And right back Bell is definitely leaving the club, with his father – Stanley assistant Jimmy Bell – saying: “Our James will be moving on.
“He hasn’t accepted our offer. He’s 20 years of age and wants to be playing first team football.”
