MATT Derbyshire has been rewarded with a start in tonight's Carling Cup quarter final at Old Trafford after his cameo at Portsmouth on Sunday.
The striker is expected to be part of a five-man midfield with Roque Santa Cruz on his own in attack as one of four changes Paul Ince has made from the 3-2 defeat at Fratton Park.
Martin Olsson returns to the side, along with Keith Treacy, and Aaron Mokoena, while Keith Andrews (cup-tied), Chris Samba, Benni McCarthy and Morten Gamst Pedersen make way.
A second string United side does include Anderson, Gary Neville, Carlos Tevez, and Nani.
