FORMER Blackburn Rovers boss Jim Smith will return to management to take charge of Oxford United’s clash with Mansfield tomorrow.
The Bald Eagle, who managed Rovers in the 1970s, last week said he was glad to be out of management for good but has taken over as Oxford’s caretaker boss.
Smith is Oxford’s director of football but has stepped in as boss on a temporary basis following the departure of manager Darren Patterson.
