THERE is no chance of Graham Alexander being side-tracked by the Arsenal game when Burnley face Derby County this afternoon.
The defender didn’t even realise their Carling Cup quarter-final was next week!
“I thought it was a couple of weeks away,” admitted Alexander, who scored the first in Burnley’s penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea in the fourth round. We’ve just been concentrating on the league games.
“You get so many in the Championship you lose track of the fixtures sometimes.
“Obviously we’re looking forward to (Arsenal) but we’ve got a massive game before that which is more important to us, which is the Derby game.”
