DARWEN were rescued by the fog as their Vodkat First Division Trophy tie at Stone was abandoned with the visitors trailing 3-2.
Stone led 3-1 at half time in the second-round tie but, although Darwen pulled a goal back after the interval, they still trailed when the referee called a halt to the match.
