ROSSENDALE manager Phil Eastwood has called on his players to show the same passion that helped see the Stags beat top-of-the-table FC Halifax Town last weekend.
United grabbed their first league win under the new manager with a superb performance at Dark Lane.
And now Eastwood is calling for more of the same as he takes his side across the Pennines tomorrow to Wakefield.
“It was a great win for us,” said Eastwood. “We had a couple of lads missing, but showed that we can play football in this league.
“The most pleasing thing was the clean sheet because we’ve been conceding silly goals of late.
“But we showed a lot of passion and commitment and, hopefully, we’ll show more of that in the weeks to come.”
