BRETT Emerton has recovered from a hamstring injury to make a surprise return to Rovers' right midfield for this afternoon's trip to White Hart Lane.

The Australian's return is timely, with Keith Andrews moved into the centre alongside Aaron Mokoena in the absence of suspended Stephen Warnock.

Benni McCarthy partners Roque Santa Cruz in attack, while Andre Ooijer is preferred to Danny Simpson at right back.

Martin Olsson returns at left back while Ryan Nelsen is restored to the heart of the defence, with Zurab Khizanishvili missing the game through illness.
