BURNLEY'S mouth-watering Carling Cup quarter-final tie against Premier League giants Arsenal is to be screened live by Sky.
The last eight clash at Turf Moor has been arranged for Tuesday, December 2, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Full ticket details of the tie are to be announced by the club later today.
Manager Owen Coyle is relishing a second opportunity, as Burnley manager, to pit his wits against Arsene Wenger.
Wenger is again expected to field his young Gunners for next month’s trip to Turf Moor where they met in the FA Cup third round in January.
“As much as you call them kids I think they play with all the game awareness of experienced international players,” said Clarets manager Owen Coyle.
“I’d asked for a home draw and if that’s the team that comes, or whoever it is, then it’s a great game for Burnley Football Club to be looking forward to.
“I think it’s great that we’re talking about being in the last eight first and foremost; the fact that we’ve been drawn at home to Arsenal then we’ll give everything we’ve got when it comes about.
“We’ll try to take the game to them and be positive, but we’ll deal with that when it comes. There are some big games for us before that.”
And midfielder Alan Mahon echoed that sentiment.
“It’s a good draw. They’re the teams you want to play against,” he said.
“But we’ve got more league games to come, so when the Arsenal comes about we’ll talk about it then.”
Coyle added: “It’s a great draw, but Saturday was all about QPR.”
